Brako employs graduates from Veles vocational secondary school
Serbian renowned manufacturer of metal, steel, wire and similar products Brako has announced that it will offer this year's graduates of vocational secondary school "Kole Nedelkovski" in Veles a paid internship at the company. The agreement between the company and the school officials is supported by Veles Municipality and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia.
The program starts on the 1st of September this year and will give 30 of the best graduate students from "Kole Nedelkovski" the opportunity to get a job at the company, provided that they do well in the internship, explained the president of Brako's Board of Directors Koco Angjusev.
Mr. Angjusev also revealed that the interns will train to operate the new equipment, purchased within the EUR 4 million investment Brako has made for a new production hall and technologies. The production hall is already furnished with modern CNC computer-controlled machines, which will ease the company's work for a number of industries, as well as the transportation and healthcare sectors.
"This project, which we have been developing for a year now, takes the examples of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is an outstanding opportunity to create ties between businesses and education - a precondition for the development of a country's economy," said company president Azeski.
